Responsibilities included detailed engineering design of municipal wastewater collection systems and municipal water
distribution systems; preparation of preliminary studies, cost estimates, plans, specifications and project inspection.  
Additional work  included preparation of construction plans for a municipal airport runway resurfacing project and for a
municipal drainage improvement project.  In conjunction with the aforementioned projects, Mr. Hancock developed
computer hydraulic models of water distribution systems, gravity sewer systems, pressure sewer systems and watershed
drainage basins including water surface profiling.  Mr. Hancock  was also responsible for computer software training and
instruction of various software systems including AutoCAD, WaterCad, Eagle Point, Hec 2, Excel, Quattro Pro, WordPerfect,
and Smart.

Researched the quality assurance requirements for research and development activities supporting the development of
new technologies for environmental restoration.  Developed a programmatic Quality Assurance document for the
Underground Storage Tank-Integrated Demonstration.  Other activities included software testing and the development of
standard operating procedures for utilization of the software.
